Frequently Asked Questions
-
Clearbreak is a private daily check-in app for noticing how you’re doing, logging mood and progress, and building consistency over time. You get a home screen with your streak and quick insights, a Progress tab with a calendar view, a Goals tab for intentions, and Settings for reminders and appearance—no sign-up required.
-
Your check-ins, goals, and reflections stay on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). There is no account in the app, and nothing is sent to our servers for normal use—so your journal-style entries aren’t uploaded for us to read. For details, use Settings → Privacy Policy (see AppURLs in the app).
-
Streaks reward consecutive days you complete your daily check-in flow (as implemented in your streak logic). The Progress tab shows how you’ve been doing over time on a calendar so you can spot patterns and celebrate consistency—not perfection on every day.
-
Yes. In Settings, turn on Daily Reminder and pick a time. Clearbreak uses local notifications only (not remote push). If reminders don’t fire, iOS must allow notifications for Clearbreak— the app will prompt you to enable them in Settings if permission was denied.

Clearbreak is entirely free.
